One of America’s hardest working rock bands embarks on a six-week tour serving up thunderous riffs and tasty licks to one and all.
Accompanying Social Distortion for an outing beginning in Salt Lake City at The Complex Oct. 14 and wrapping in Tempe, Ariz., at the Marquee Theatre Nov. 23 will be Lucero and Frank Turner.
You want more dates? The tour plays Denver at the Fillmore Auditorium Oct. 15; Minneapolis at First Avenue Oct. 19; Detroit at The Fillmore Oct. 21 and Toronto at Kool Haus Oct. 23. Other stops include Washington, Atlantic City, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Austin, Dallas and Tucson.
But you don’t have to wait until fall for a dose of Mike Ness and Company. Social D is touring during the summer, hitting festivals like Festival D’ete de Quebec this Saturday, Chicago’s Lollapalooza Aug. 7 and Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco Aug. 15. Other summer gigs include Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at The Chance Entertainment Complex July 27; Hartford, Conn., at Webster Theater July 31; Sayreville, N.J., at Starland Ballroom Aug. 1 and Green Bay, Wis., at Oneida Bingo & Casino Aug. 8.
