Nickelback Continues Its Dark Horse Ride

10:01 AM, Thursday 7/8/10 Add |   |

Nickelback announces an extension to its “Dark Horse” tour as the band continues to bring joy, enlightenment and hope to a waiting world.

Well, maybe the band won’t save the world, but the announcement of dates ranging from Sept. 14-Oct. 30 definitely brightens up the fall concert picture. During the past two years Nickelback has played 120 dates and sold more than 1.6 million tickets. If any act can break the current soft ticket doldrums facing the concert biz, it’s the lil’ ol’ band from Hanna, Alberta.

Accompanied by Three Days Grace and Buckcherry, the fall tour begins in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Sept. 14; plays Ft. Wayne, Ind., at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Sept. 15 and stops in Pittsburgh for a gig at the Consol Energy Center Sept. 17. Other stops include Detroit, Cleveland, Little Rock, New Orleans, Denver, Anaheim, Fresno, Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Tickets go on sale beginning July 17. Click here for more info.
