Allman Brothers Tease Fall Tour

01:10 PM, Monday 8/9/10 1 |   |

The Allman Brothers Band announced the first set of dates since Gregg Allman’s organ transplant, saying it will embark on “an evening with” jaunt on the East Coast taking place in intimate theatres.

So far, the band has only announced its Boston shows – three nights at Beantown’s Orpheum Theatre Nov. 18-20. These are the first publicly announced dates since Allman underwent a liver transplant in June.  Expect more shows to be announced shortly.

“I’m ready,” Allman said. “I’ve been itching to play since I got the operation and am glad to be back. Can’t thank everyone enough for their help and support.”

Tickets for the Boston gigs go on sale Aug. 12. For more information, click here for The Allman Brothers Band website.
