Neil’s Better Half To Tour With Jansch

11:01 AM, Friday 8/27/10 Add |   |

Pegi Young embarks on a short tour in October opening for Bert Jansch.

Earlier this summer Young hooked up with Jansch for a series of West Coast dates. Now the two artists plan to recreate the magic in New York, Massachusetts, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Young is touring in support of her new Vapor Records CD, Foul Deeds.

“The CD is full of dark themes… divorces, debauchery, disillusionment and despair,” Young said, laughing. “So the title Foul Deeds summed it up.”

Young’s dates with Jansch begin in Brooklyn at Bell House Oct. 6. Other stops are Fall River, Mass., at Norton Center Oct. 7; Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s Oct. 9; Vienna, Va., at Jammin’ Java Oct. 10 and State College, Pa., at State Theatre Oct. 12.
