The man who took the world for a walk on the wild side launches his ‘VU To Lulu” tour in Luxembourg June 6.

Those of you scratching your noggins wondering about the significance of the “VU To Lulu” tour moniker, the answer is reflective of what Lou Reed has in store for fans. Simply put, Reed plans on performing songs from throughout his career, from his Velvet Underground days up to his most recent album, the collaboration with Metallica called Lulu.

The tour begins at Luxembourg’s Rockhall June 6. Other stops include Lille, France, at L’Aeronef June 12; Amsterdam at the Heineken Music Hall June 14; Copenhagen at Falconer Theatre June 18; Mainz, Germany, at Zollhaven June 23; Bonn, Germany, at Kunstrasen June 29 and Trencin, Slovaka, at Airport Trencin July 5.

Reed’s five-piece band is made up of drummer Tony “Thunder” Smith, Rob Wasserman on bass, keyboardist Kevin Hearn and guitarist Aram Bajakian.
