Cormack from "The Answer" is the Lead singer and would be a sure fit for Led Zep...Not only sounds like R.P. but looks like him in the early years of Zep!!! That would be Awesome!!!!

We should not even be discussing this without Robert Plant. If they tour without him it WILL suck. Not even singers from decent bands like Steven Tyler (more decent 30 years ago) or Chris Cornell could bring me out to that show. And why Jason Bonham, couldn't they have found a better drummer and just given him the last name Bonham since relation is more important than talent. Christ, they are going about this all wrong. I'd take a Page and Plant tour any day over a some lame a$$ Zep Tribute band with Page/Jones/ some degenerate at vocals and a no good drummer. Peace.

If it has to happen with Robert, they've got to find someone unknown who sounds VERY different than he. But I'm still hoping Robert jumps on board -- and it's got to be new material mostly (not just rehashes of the past).

If anyone replaces R.P. it should be Jack Russell of Great White, if you've ever listened to their cover cd of zeppelin you'll know why, and beside that, its what they did before they became G.W.

There is only one Robert Plant but if they are going out then I think Myles Kennedy would be a good choice. Good range and can play guitar but it sounds like they are going for a big name.

The best solution would obviously be Robert. If he does not want to do it, I suggest Randy Jackson of Zebra. He currently is doing Zep symphony shows and Zebra has done Zep songs in concert.

If they can't do it with Plant, I think the next best thing would be to bring along a selection of well known singers to fill in, instead of just one that we all hate (Steven Tyler!).

I also think Ann Wilson should be considered for the job. Search out Heart's Zep covers on Youtube.

I agree, its not zep without plant.

I would kill my own mother to go see them before they die, if plant were back with them. Jason just doesn't have the fan dedication in him. To let his mom stop him TWICE sheesh...

Jason can handle his dad's beats, did anyone hear the recordings from the O2? These guys can still rock.

I can't see Steve Tyler, Chris Cornell or any other singer in there except Robert Plant. I could see why Robert would want to continue with what he's doing now because it's so far away from Zepplin does. But, for people like me & many other people who didn't get the chance to see Zepplin in the original form, we're hungering for it. I'm 47 years old now. I discovered Zepplin at 11 years old. In fact, the day I discovered them, these kids invited me to go see Zepplin in 1971. My mother wouldn't let me see them. When I was in high school in 1977, once again, I was invited to go see them at the now defunct LA Forum (I have the boot for that show. There won't ever be a rock show like that anymore). Once again, my mother stopped from seeing them. In Through The Out comes out & they announce a tour. I was like 'YES!!!! I can finally go see the band I've been wanting to see for years. John Bonham dies!!!! I was heartbroken just like alot of other people.

I've seen Robert Plant on his solo tours (I actually met him when he was in Seattle), I've seen Jimmy Page when he was doing The Firm thing but, it'll never replace the very thing that drew me to them in the first place. Jason Bonham is more than capable of filling Johns' shoes & I didn't get to see John Paul Jones when he was touring with Diamanda Galas, which I could kick myself for missing.

So Robert, pleeeeaaase!!!!!

Join the guys & give us the real ***. We need it bad!!!!

Keep crying infant, all the sources I hear on the radio are saying the Tyler is the front runner.

I just cant put his vocal work into my head with the zep songs though...
