What a bubblehead! "Played a bunch of songs nobody knows?" Sounds like it was a bunch of songs YOU didn't know. Anyone who'd rather hear "Amazing" or "Cryin'" instead of "Toys..." needs their freakin' head examined. I like their newer stuff o.k., but please don't say anything about them pulling out the stuff that made them who they are! I hear they may do "Rocks" all the way through later in the tour.

Last week the show was going fine until they played "Jaded", talk about an exodus to the restrooms.

I'm sorry hvt9198, I a huge Aerosmith fan, have everything they've ever released and if they played the songs you suggested (minus BITS and BOBO), I'm be suicidal for sure..

The real music came from the 70s, I was born 17 years after Toys came out and it's still probably their best album for me.

I'm so stoked for the show!!

Huh? They played Toys in the Attic in its entirety and you were upset? Are you sure you're a fan? I remember I saw Roger Waters do the complete Dark Side of the Moon a couple years ago. Still the best show I've ever seen. It seems like he's the one that has made this whole album thing popular. I don't mind bands doing it as long as it's considered a great album and not just a good one.

I saw Aerosmith last Wednesday in St. Louis (or Maryland Heights) and I must say those guys totally rocked the house. I've been listening to them since I was in grade school (early 90s) and it was my first time seeing them perform in person. Toys In The Attic was an album I was introduced to when I was much young and I must say I am glad they performed the whole album. Except they did not sing the last track (which is also my least favorite, You See Me Crying). The whole thing worked out great as I found myself singing along to such songs as 'Uncle Salty' and 'No More, No More'.

TOYS in its entirety: At least at the first two shows of the tour, the band left off the final song on the album. "You See Me Crying" n-e-e-d-s to be there, not only to complete a great album and live up to the hype of publicity of playing an entire LP, but also because it is a great song, destined to give chills live. (And don't listen to the reason that Steven Tyler doesn't want to risk hitting the notes...... He still signs "Draw The Line" which has to be a rough one on his vocal cords.)

gawd i hate this whole album trend...i know Judas Priest is also doing it this year....i dont want to hear some obsure B side throaways.....ok, play 4 or 5 songs of a particular album if you want to celebrate it...but the whole freakin thing? geesh...on the 'glass is half full' side, ill be able to go to the rest room during the show when the lines are shorter!

There are so many bands doing this entire album thing. Killing Joke & The cult did the same exact thing. I agree w/the one comment that they should do the best off the first 3 albums, especially "Rocks". That album gives goose bumps every time I hear Sick as A Dog or Lick & A Promise

Mistake? That's just nuts! Behind Rocks and Get Your Wings, Toys is their strongest album. I wouldn't want them to play more than 2 songs from any album put out after 1975, but any of the three above records are so classic that they SHOULD be played in their entirety.

Also, Toys clocks in at less than 38 minutes, so they'll still have plenty of time to play all those other songs you want to hear as well...

I love Aerosmith, but I think playing a majority of their songs from one album is a huge mistake. I hope they reconsider and not neglect some of their other huge hits like Janie's Got A Gun, What It Takes, Dude Looks Like A Lady, and others. This news makes me less excited about going to their show.
