36 Crazyfists Piles It On

03:09 AM Wednesday 10/1/08 |   |

Alaskan metal heavyweights 36 Crazyfists have launched an all out assault in support of latest release The Tide and Its Takers.

The band is currently on the road with Trivium, All That Remains and The Human Abstract.

Upcoming shows include tonight at Sioux Falls Expo Center in South Dakota, October 5 at The Blue Note in Columbia, Mo., October 10 at Piere's Entertainment Center in Fort Wayne, Ind., October 15 at Mr. Small's Theatre in Pittsburgh, and October 19 at Amos' Southend in Charlotte, N.C.

In November, 36 Crazyfists hooks up with In Flames, All That Remains and Gojira for a run of dates that extends through mid-December.

Stops include Metropolis in Montreal (November 6), House of Blues in Chicago (November 10), Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver (November 17), Warfield Theatre in San Francisco (November 21), Midnight Rodeo in Albuquerque, N.M. (November 25), La Zona Rosa in Austin (November 29), The Tabernacle in Atlanta (December 3), The Palladium in Worcester, Mass. (December 6), and The Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee (December 10).

Tickets for many shows are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Fans who can't make it to a live 36 Crazyfists show (and you'd have to try pretty hard not to get to at least one) can check out the band on UndergroundVideoTelevision.com.

An entire performance filmed at The Lost Horizon in Syracuse, N.Y. is available for viewing there and can also be purchased from iTunes.

The band will record a January show in Anchorage, Alaska, for a forthcoming live DVD.
