AEG/Goldenvoice's entertainment complex L.A. Live has a new sibling, Club Nokia L.A. Live.
The 2,000-plus capacity venue, featuring a state of the art sound system and lights, theatre-style seating in the balcony and outdoor patios, will be opened with a bang November 10 with a performance by Beck. Tickets for the grand opening show go on sale September 27 at Ticketmaster.com.
Upcoming artists scheduled to play the 3-level club, which also features a VIP lounge and catering by Wolfgang Puck, include Lupe Fiasco, Taking Back Sunday, Calle 13, The B-52's, Matisyahu with Flobots, Usher, Sarah Silverman, In Flames with All That Remains, Gojira and 36 Crazyfists, Nas, Metro Station with Shwayze, Tyga and Cash Cash, Sergio Mendes, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Frank Caliendo, Belanova, Bret Michaels, Gretchen Wilson, Rick Springfield with 38 Special, Etta James, Bill Engvall, X, B.B.
