What's new? How about late October listings for MGMT, December dates for Stellastarr*, November shows for The Republic Tigers and 2009 dates for Bill Engvall?

MGMT plays Mexico in mid-October and then it's back to the states for new gigs on the east coast before heading to the United Kingdom and Europe. Today's Mexico addition is October 17 in Monterrey at La Escena. The band also adds New York City on October 30 at Webster Hall, Brooklyn on Halloween at Music Hall Of Williamsburg and Stockholm on November 21 at Debaser Medis.

Stellastarr* adds a string of New York City dates, playing Pianos in their hometown, December 2 - 6. The band also adds November 5 in Allston, Massachusetts, at Great Scott, November 9 in DC at Rock And Roll Hotel and November 10 in Philly at Johnny Brenda's.

The Republic Tigers add three November gigs - 15 in Denver at Hi-Dive, 16 in Ames at The Maintenance Shop and 17 in Chicago at Subterranean.

And funny guy Bill Engvall is plotting his 2009 march to world domination with new listings in Las Vegas, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia and Fairfax. The Vegas gig is slotted for February 26 & 27 at Treasure Island Hotel, March 6 is Forth Worth at Bass Performance Hall, Hollywood, Florida, is penciled in for May 7 at Seminole Hard Rock Live, Atlanta, Georgia, gets him on May 8 at the Fox Theatre and May 9 goes to Fairfax, Virginia, at the Patriot Center.

During the past couple of hours we also updated the schedules for Wayne Baker Brooks, The Nighthawks, The Kooks, The Holmes Brothers, Vonda Shepard, The Benjy Davis Project, Popa Chubby, Paul Young, Odetta, Rockie Lynne, Melissa Ferrick, Matthew Sweet, McCarthy Trenching, Magic Slim & The Teardrops, Livingston Taylor, Klaxons, Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, Jon Carroll, John McCutcheon, John Eaton, Gilberto Gil, Element, Ari Hest and David Wilcox.

But it ain't over yet. We have two more hours of processing time left on the ol' clock before our corporate masters remove the chains from our legs and hand us back our car keys. Don't miss your last update of the day - The Closing Bell - coming up around 5 pm (PDT) on Pollstar.com!
