Midday Update

12:04 PM Monday 8/25/08 | |

Grab hold of something solid and prepare yourself for new dates for HorrorPops, Sasha, Melissa Ferrick and Tim Reynolds And TR3, and links to items about a Paul McCartney Israel date in the works, Britney not performing at the VMAs, a fourth judge for "American Idol," Daddy Yankee for John McCain and all those iPod rumors.

We haven't seen any press or an official announcement on this, but our local Starbucks is selling its CD inventory at $7.95 a pop. We don't know if that's a national promotion, but you might want to check out your local SB for a similar deal.

One of the biggest artists on the Latin music scene, Daddy Yankee, endorses John McCain - Miami Herald
