(August 5-6), Toyota Park near Chicago (August 8-10), Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio (August 12-13), Downsview Park in Toronto (August 15-17), the Meadow Brook Music Festival near Detroit (August 19-20) and the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum Parking Lot in Uniondale, N.Y. Tickets for all dates are available at DisneyMusicBlockPartyTour.com and Ticketmaster.com.
Besides musical entertainment, the event will feature a number of activities, including the Playskool Play Experience, NAMM's Wanna Play? musical instruments area, a "Playhouse Disney" tent and interactive music-based dance activities with contests and giveaways.
Covert will release his second children's book, "Ralph's World Rocks!," on August 5.
The book features lyrics from 12 Ralph's World songs brought to life by the whimsical artwork of longtime artist collaborator and fellow author Charise Mericle Harper.
A three-track CD and a section with guitar chords are also included so kids can sing and play along to classics like "Monster," "Happy Lemons" and "Peggy's Pie Parlor Polka."
