Bill Graham Foundation Celebrates The Fillmore Scene

03:23 PM Thursday 5/22/08 |   |

The Bill Graham Memorial Foundation is teaming with Live Nation to present its first East Coast benefit show in New York City, honoring the memory of the legendary promoter.

The Fillmore Scene will take place May 27 at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza and features Dark Star Orchestra, Spin Doctors, Blues Traveler's John Popper & Chan Kinchla, Moonalice and special surprise guests.

Tickets, which are $65, are available at LiveNation.com, TheFillmore-East.com and Ticketmaster.com.

In addition to the jam band lineup, a 1995 poster autographed by The Grateful Dead and Dave Matthews will be auctioned the evening of the show to benefit the foundation, which seeks to assist those whose needs are often not served by larger philanthropic organizations.
