Organizers of Monolith, a two-day music festival held at Red Rock Amphitheatre near Denver, have announced the dates for the second outing of the event.

This year Monolith, which when it debuted last year marked the first time a multi-stage, multi-day event was ever held at the venue, will take place September 13-14.

Details on lineup and tickets are forthcoming.

In the meantime, festival organizers will throw a two-day party in Austin during the South By Southwest Music & Media conference, featuring Jens Lekman, British Sea Power, Crystal Castles and many more acts.

The event, co-sponsored by blog Hot Freaks, will take place on three stages March 14-15 at Austin's Mohawk and Club DeVille.

Other artists scheduled to appear include Jason Collett, Peter Moren (of Peter Bjorn and John), Lyrics Born, Fleet Foxes, Lykke Li, A Place To Bury Strangers, Peelander-Z, The Acorn, Cadence Weapon, Blitzen Trapper, Nicole Atkins & The Sea, The Dodos, White Denim, Evangelicals, Ola Podrida, Bowerbirds, Bad Veins, The Whigs, White Rabbits and many more.
