The Story So Far

10:10 AM Friday 2/22/08 |   |

New dates for "SXSW," Braille, Celtic Thunder and The Zutons will shine like fresh sunlight on your soul and lift your spirit to the ultimate level of peace and happiness in your first update of the day!

You already know about Celtic Woman, now meet its male counterpart, Celtic Thunder. The October through December arena tour features the singing talents of Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom and George Donaldson, and markets include New York City, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Toronto, Boston, Houston, Seattle and Fresno.

We're currently processing about three truckloads of data for Austin's annual "SXSW" festival. Consider this a work in progress and individual club appearances for the March festival will start appearing in the Pollstar.com touring database during the next few hours. There are so many bands and artists appearing at this even that mentioning a few names would hardly do it justice. So keep checking back and search for "SXSW" for more artist / band info.

We have a smattering of new Braille dates for March, April and May. New listings include shows in Albuquerque (New Mexico) and Gary (Indiana), Puyallup (Washington), Auburn (Washington), Eugene (Oregon), Salem (Oregon) and Portland (Oregon) and Boston (Massachusetts).

And it's been a while since we highlighted a band beginning with the letter "Z" so today's 15 seconds of Pollstar fame falls upon The Zutons, which update with several new June dates for the United Kingdom. Stops include Thetford, Kent, Cheshire, Westonbirt, Nottinghamshire, North Yorkshire and Staffordshire.

During the first 90 minutes we immersed ourselves in the morning data deliver we also updated schedules for Thurston Moore, Tim Fite, Tigercity, The Whip, The Von Bondies, The Weakerthans, The Whigs and Foo Fighters.

Don't go away! We're entering more dates for all bands big and small throughout the day. Don't miss your Midday Update, scheduled for around 12 noon (PST), from Pollstar.com!
