Overnight Sensations …

Neither rain nor sleet nor snow will keep our overnight crew from posting the following items:

Avril Damns Europe Too - The singer announces dates for a European and U.K. run.

Return Of The Greyboy Allstars - The funk/jazz collective heads out with all of its original members.

Here & There ...

Motown museum plans shelved - The Detroit News

Department of Justice sides with judge, jury and record labels over first file-sharing case to make it to trial - InformationWeek

Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles is here to stay - The Boston Globe

Memories of WMMS, Cleveland's "Buzzard" - Cleveland Plain Dealer

Luther Vandross' legacy available to the highest bidder - Washington Post

Dates, Dates & More Dates ...

29, count 'em, 29 new Las Vegas dates for Elton Hercules John at Celine's old digs, the Colosseum at Caesars Palace; dates for "Telluride Bluegrass Festival" have been announced; Job For A Cowboy add Reno and Omaha to the routing and Left Alone add January dates throughout the western states.

Indigo Girls add '08 shows in IL, OH, VA, NC, SC and TN; Meat Puppets play Boulder on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve's Eve and Sick Of It All plot an east coast run in January.

Not just a good day, but a great day for tour dates. Here are just some of the artists and bands whose schedules we updated today:

The Police, Bon Jovi, The Futureheads, The Spice Girls, Tilly and the Wall, Bret Michaels, David Gray, Eels, Lila Downs, Midge Ure, Plain White T's, Avril Lavigne, Feist, Public Enemy, Tift Merritt, Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials, Foo Fighters, Killswitch Engage, Bump, Candlemass, Social Code, Lupe Fiasco, Sky Eats Airplane, David Allan Coe, From Autumn To Ashes. Jimmy Eat World, Jack Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Spyro Gyra, Toto, STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9), Moe Bandy, Saw Doctors, and Yip-Yip.

Of course, we could go on and mention more updated schedules for more artists and bands. But our I.T. department says we've used up all the bytes allotted to us for today, and we won't receive another shipment until tomorrow morning. In other words, it's closing time. Sayonara!
