The Story So Far

10:01 AM Monday 11/26/07 | |

New dates for Morrissey, Van Halen and Dolly Parton make up your first update of the day from Pollstar.com!

Whoa, Nelly! Take a few days off and the new tour dates start backing up in our system like like four-day-old cranberry sauce jamming the garbage disposal. That's the price we pay for partying like pardoned turkeys during the Thanksgiving Weekend.

Let's get down to business.

More 2008 Van Halen dates, including stops in San Antonio, Dallas, New Orleans and NYC; The Used schedule shows in Mexico and Brazil and Stone Gods slot UK and Netherlands dates.

Stephen Pearcy adds December outings; Morrissey plots a string of London shows and Foo Fighters add Wembley Stadium to their June plans.

Dolly Parton will tour the United Kingdom next summer; The Police will headline the Isle Of Wight Festival and Southern Culture On The Skids plan on ringing in the new year in Raleigh, NC.

During the first 90 minutes of biz we also updated the schedules for Eric Singer, Starship Starring Mickey Thomas; Alecia Nugent, Scott H. Biram, The Drams, Tokio Hotel and Yngwie Malmsteen.

But wait! There's more!

Our tour-date specialists are analyzing, categorizing, alphabetizing, memorizing and demystifying new dates as you read this. Be sure to check out your Midday Update, scheduled for around noon (PST), from Pollstar.com!
