Bluesin' Up The Caribbean

Taj Mahal, Irma Thomas, Charlie Musselwhite and Shemekia Copeland are just a few of the names on the roster for the next Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, which sets sail from Florida in January for a blues festival at sea in the Caribbean.

The music-filled voyage to St. Kitts, St. Croix and San Juan, Puerto Rico, sets sail January 13 from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with over 30 musicians on board. The five-star Holland America ms Oosterdam will sail for seven days and return to port January 20.

Rounding out the roster for the trip are Tab Benoit & Voice Of The Wetlands Allstars with Cyril Neville, Anders Osborne and Jumpin' Johnny Sansone; Tommy Castro; Mark Hummell's Harmonica Blowout with Magic Dick and Billy Branch; Theodis Ealey; Jimmy Thackery with Reba Russell; Terrance Simien; Ronnie Baker Brooks; the Howlin' Wolf Tribute Show with Hubert Sumlin, Henry Gray, Eddie Shaw and The Wolfgang and Tail Dragger; Smokin' Joe Kubek with Bnois King; Michael Burks; Ruthie Foster; Paul Oscher; Papa Mali; the Sean Carney Band; Rosie Ledet; Billy Gibson; and Harper and Chick Willis.

Also on board are piano bar hosts David Maxwell and Mitch Woods, plus a bunch of invited and secret guests.
