The October 26-28 event, which will once again be held at Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium, also features Vegoose at Night, an array of indoor performances at Vegas venues like the House of Blues, The Joint and the Pearl Concert Theatre at The Palms.
A highlight of this year's festival is a special set by The Stooges, who will perform their entire 1970 album Fun House.
Other acts announced so far include Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Umphrey's McGee, Thievery Corporation, STS9, Gogol Bordello, Ghostland Observatory, Ghostface Killah & The Rhythm, Roots Allstars, UNKLE, Pharoahe Monch and Battles.
Festival organizers promise more artists will be announced in the future.
Tickets for the two-day outdoor festival go on sale July 28 through the Vegoose web site.
Vegoose at Night events are ticketed separately. Fans who purchase two-day tickets early will be offered a chance to participate in special VIP and general admission presales for those shows.
