Brad Paisley Is Country Music's Most Wanted

02:02 PM Thursday 8/1/02 |   |

Brad Paisley has been roped in to lead a slew of country artists on the first-ever CMT Most Wanted Live tour. Taking its name from the Country Music Television's daily series, the tour will call at a total of 44 theatres, arenas, and music halls from coast to coast this fall.

Paisley has his own set of state and county fair appearances lined up preceding the big tour, which kicks off September 19 and stretches into December.

"I can't wait for the CMT Most Wanted Live tour to begin," said Paisley. "Being that a few of these artists are relatively new, I plan on dominating the practical joke wars that are bound to take place. I guess just like [the CMT TV show] Most Wanted Live, anything can happen."

Among the many artists hopping on and off the Most Wanted train are Pinmonkey, Steve Holy, Shannon Lawson, Steve Azar, Andy Griggs, Chris Cagle, Rascal Flatts, and Darryl Worley.

Along with seeing hot country stars, concert-goers who arrive early will have the chance to participate in a taping segment for telecast on the "Most Wanted Live" show. Paisley, a viewer favorite on the TV series, has appeared six times on the show.
