The Story So Far

11:23 AM Monday 11/24/08 | |

New dates for Coldplay in Australia, Carrie Rodriguez in the U.S.A., Dropkick Murphys in 2009 and Natalie Cole in the Sunshine State!

Joy and excitement spread throughout the Pollstar.com campus as news of a special package of 2009 Dropkick Murphys dates landing on our loading dock this morning quickly made its way through our compound. Playing mostly theatres and clubs, details include February 20 in Hollywood at the Hollywood Palladium; February 23 in Seattle at Showbox SoDo; February 27 in Milwaukee at Eagles Ballroom and March 8 in Philadelphia at the Electric Factory.

Coldplay plays Down Under next March, slotting two nights in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena for March 3 & 4; two nights in Boondall at Brisbane Entertainment Centre for March 8 & 9 and two in Sydney at Acer Arena for March 11 & 12.

Carrie Rodriguez routes a quick coast-to-coast jaunt, playing New York City on January 5 at The Living Room. Six days later Ms. Rodriguez lands in San Francisco for a gig at Yoshi's SF. Then it’s back to NYC for another Living Room performance on January 26.

And we have a few new Natalie Cole dates for Florida – February 13 in West Palm Beach at Kravis Center; February 14 in Clearwater at Ruth Eckerd Hall and February 17 in Melbourne at King Center For Performing Arts.

During the first few hours of biz we also updated the schedules for People In Planes, Ray Price, Paul Lewis, Missy Raines, Michael Cowles, Lil' Wayne, Kings Of Leon, John Jorgenson Quintet, Iron Maiden, Aaron Tippin, Alejandro Escovedo, Ronnie McDowell, The Australian Pink Floyd Show and Y & T.
