The Tour That Does Something

Pre-sale tickets for the 8th annual Sub City Take Action! Tour go on sale online Dec. 12-19.

The tour benefits DoSomething.org, a nonproft organization that inspires and empowers young people. Cute Is What We Aim For will headline, supported by Meg & Dia, Breathe Carolina, Every Avenue and Anarbor.

The tour kicks off at Pop’s in Sauget, Ill., Feb. 11 and winds down at Bogart’s in Cincinnati April 1.

Additional dates include House of Blues in Cleveland (Feb. 12), Gravity Nightclub in Cheswick, Pa. (Feb. 13), House of Blues in Boston (Feb. 17), Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore (Feb 20) and 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. (Feb. 22).

The band heads to Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte, N.C. (Feb. 24), The State Theater in St Petersburg, Fla. (Feb. 28), American Legion in Pensacola, Fla. (March 4), The White Rabbit in San Antonio, Texas (March 6) and Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Ariz. (March 11).

Additional stops include House of Blues in San Diego (March 14), The New Oasis in Sparks, Nev. (March 18), the Knitting Factory in Spokane, Wash. (March 23), Station 4 in Minn. (March 27), and Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio (March 31).

Pre-sale tickets are available through Artist Arena.

To purchase pre-sale tickets, fans must register with the site for a username and password. The first 30 fans to purchase tickets for each tour stop have the chance for a meet-and-greet with Cute Is What We Aim For and other Sub City Take Action! Tour artists.

Tickets go on sale to the general Dec. 20.
