Scheduled To Appear – Christmas Eve Edition

11:32 AM Wednesday 12/24/08 |   |

Despite our best efforts, we seem to have been overtaken by the holiday spirit. So we’re going to do something a little different today to mark the occasion.

Although we’re posting the TV schedule as usual, we’re not going to recommend you watch any of it. Not one second.

Instead, turn off the tube and talk to your family. Call up an old friend and catch up with them. Walk next-door or across the street and spend some time with your neighbors. Call a nursing home or homeless mission in your area and ask how you can help.

There’s been a lot of talk about change this year. It’s time to stop looking for others to make that change. So do something simple to make a difference in someone else’s life. You’ll be surprised how much of a change it can make in yours.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa (or whatever holiday you choose to celebrate) and we’ll see you next year!
