Just because one comes from American Idol doesn't make them a "fake" musician. Some are, some aren't. Some write their own music, play their own instruments, worked real hard at making a living from their music before going on Idol. Others just have a nice voice. I'm a fan of American Idol and a fan of music. So I'm not going to negate someone's talent just because they come from a cheesy reality show.
