07:01 AM Thursday 2/5/09 |   |

The lineup for the 2009 Noise Pop Festival is locked into place (well, as much as any lineup can be) and now features headliners Antony and the Johnson, Deerhunter, Stephen Malkmus and many others.

The Feb. 24 through March 1 celebration of music, film and art is set to take place at venues throughout San Francisco, with more than 100 acts taking the stage at more than 40 events.

Other indie musicians signed on include Les Savy Fav, Josh Ritter (solo with a string quartet), Bob Mould, A.C. Newman, Sleepy Sun, French Kicks, Matt Costa, Martha Wainwright, St. Vincent, Ra Ra Riot, Clues, Sholi, N.A.S.A, No Age and Mountain Goats.

This year also marks the debut of “Industry Noise” a one-day conference happening February 27 at The Swedish American Hall in San Francisco that will examine independent music, technology, touring and the transforming industry.

The highlight of the event is a keynote conversation between Lou Barlow (Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh, Folk Implosion) and Bob Mould (Hüsker Dü, Sugar).

Complete details on registering for the conference and tickets to individual shows are available at NoisePop.com.
