The band will kick off its sojourn with a pair of showcases March 18-19 at the South By Southwest Music & Media Festival in Austin.

After a March 21 show at Birmingham, Ala.’s Workplay Theatre, Gomez will hook up with singer/songwriter Josh Ritter to co-headline a handful of shows. Gomez will also be joined by Alberta Cross for a few additional solo dates.

The group is also coming back in June for its third appearance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., alongside acts like Beastie Boys, Ben Harper, Wilco and David Byrne. Tickets for the event go on sale Feb. 7.

Gomez will mark the March 31 release of Tide with a show at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom.

Fans can get a taste of what’s in store on the new album by downloading a free track from the disc, Airstream Drive, at GomezTheBand.com.
