Scheduled To Appear – 02/16

04:04 PM Monday 2/16/09 | |

While there’s a landslide of great musical performances on the schedule, that’s not the best reason to tune into late night this week.

Feb. 20 is Conan O’Brien’s final night behind the desk at “Late Night.” After 16 years of grilling celebs, introducing the world to new bands and making the country laugh with great bits like “In the Year 2000” and “Clutch Cargo”-style fake interviews, O’Brien is moving on.

Here’s he is “interviewing” Alex Rodriguez about his admission of steroid abuse.

In June, he’ll take over “The Tonight Show” as Jay Leno moves his act to prime time.

O’Brien has reportedly been poring over thousands of hours of old shows and has already been airing some of his (and fans) favorite clips.

It’s a safe bet that he’s going to be saving some of the best for last. Plus you never know who might drop by to say farewell and good luck. We know what we’ll be watching after midnight this week.
