Saliva Off Sno-Core

11:01 AM Tuesday 4/21/09 |   |

There will be one less band on the remaining Sno-Core dates, as a medical issue forces Saliva to drop off the tour.

  • Josey Scott of Saliva

This change in Sno-Core’s band lineup isn’t as easy as saying lead singer Josey Scott is ailing. Although the band made plans to tour without Scott, in the end it decided to stay off the road until he’s back on his feet.

Scott recently had to undergo emergency ulcer surgery, leading to the band tapping Walt Lafty of Silvertide to fill Scott’s shoes. However, after mulling over the switch and considering feedback from promoters, the band decided to nix the substitute plans and bail on the tour, saying it was “in the interest of fans.”

Sno-Core will continue with Static-X, Burn Halo and The Flood.

Even though Saliva is momentarily sidelined, the band will return to touring in the summer and fall in support of their fifth album, Cinco Diablo.
