Black Crowes Set For Summer Flight

02:01 PM Monday 6/8/09 | |

It’s no rest for Robinson Brothers Chris and Rich as The Black Crowes finalizes its late summer/early fall calendar with plenty of shows to keep your rock & roll spirit flying.

Sure the band has shows scheduled for June and July, but it is calling the Aug. 25 date in Vienna, Va., at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap the first show of the “Stuck Inside Utopia” tour.

Additional dates include Aug. 26 in Hyannis, Mass., at the Cape Cod Melody Tent; Aug. 31 in Lancaster, Pa., at the American Music Theatre; Sept. 5 in Asbury Park at the Stone Pony Summerstage and Oct. 3 in Atlanta at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre. Other towns on the routing include New York City, Nashville, Baltimore, Atlantic City, Boston and Virginia Beach.

“The Black Crowes fearlessly continue to search for the self made utopian ideals that makes rock and roll music the last true real American Adventure,” said vocalist Chris Robinson in a statement announcing the tour.
