Rothbury is also striving to be the greenest music festival on earth by committing itself to producing a near zero-waste event, and will have an on-staff “Greening Chief” who has implemented several initiatives including replacing disposables with 100 percent compostables, recycling and composting, carbon-offsetting and clean energy. Meanwhile, the Rothbury Think Tank, described as an “event within the event” will host various sessions and roundtables featuring scientists writers, scholars and corporate leaders as well as artists performing at the festival.
The festival is produced by Madison House Presents and AEG Live and has Toyota, Merrell and the Michigan State Lottery as partners. Check out Rothbury’s Web site for more information by clicking here.
