What could be better than cruising the Caribbean with Queensryche, Tesla, Ratt and Skid Row? How about a discount for Rock Gone Wild ticket buyers left holding the bag?

ShipRocked is a five-day cruise onboard the MSC Poesia embarking from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Nov. 15. Along with the aforementioned bands, expect performances by Broken Teeth, endeverafteR, Lynam, Niki Barr Band, Stereoside and StoneRider. This is gonna be one helluva trip.

Plus, there’s a special discount for all Rock Gone Wild festival fans left in the lurch. It was only a few weeks ago when Rock Gone Wild promoters pulled the plug on the event only days before the festival, leaving certain issues such as ticket refunds up in the air.

But ShipRocked is offering a $100 discount to folks still hanging on to their Rock Gone Wild tix. All you need do is e-mail or fax proof of your ticket to the ShipRocked people. Plus, if you’ve already purchased your cruise tickets and you’re a Rock Gone Wild ticketholder, e-mail or fax your RGW proof to the cruise folks and you’ll receive a $100 onboard credit. These offers end Sept. 30.

Tesla rules! We met Frank Hannon before a show in Seattle and he was easy to approach, talked about the set list and just generally B.S.'ed. He signed all kinds of stuff for us, posed for pics and just had some fun with everyone. Plus, if you've never seen Tesla do Rock Bottom for an encore, you're missing out! It blew the windows out of the back it was so damn loud!!
