The tour kicks off Jan. 8 at UTC McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tenn., and concludes March 28 at the Freedom Hall @ The Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, Ky.
Additional dates include Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla. (Jan. 15), Assembly Hall in Champaign, Ill. (Jan. 23), James Brown Arena in Augusta, Ga. (Feb. 11), American Airlines Center in Dallas (Feb. 26) and Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. (March 25).
“Our vision has always been to bring together great music, the Gospel message, and a low admission price is some of the biggest venues in the country,” said Eddie Carswell, NewSong founding member and Winter Jam creator. “We want families and youth groups to enjoy a night of top-notch entertainment that serves a greater purpose.”
When he says a low admission price, he’s not kidding. Admission is only $10 at the door. The tour also includes a Pre-Jam Party with Sidewalk Prophets, Robert Pierre and Revive.
Fans gave Winter Jam 2009 kudos by voting it Gospel Music Channel’s “Concert of the Year” and CCMmagazine.com Readers’ Choice Awards’ “Best Tour.”
The Winter Jam 2010 Tour Spectacular is presented by Holt International and sponsored by the American Bible Society, HeartItFirst.com, Camp Electric, Premier Christian Cruises, All Access Merchandising, Texas TransEastern, Xtreme Conferences and Wayne E. Bailey Produce.
