So far there are only two shows on the schedule – Feb. 20 in Perth at Members Equity Stadium and Feb. 26 at the Sydney Football Stadium.

A lot has happened for Michael since he last played Australia, including a Grammy award, three AMAs, an MTV VMA and two Ivor Novello awards for songwriting.

“It is thrilling to bring George Michael to Australia again. He last toured here on the ‘Faith’ tour in 1988,” promoter Paul Dainty said. “He is a consummate performer and will deliver a stunning show to his fans who have waited 22 years to see him perform in Australia.”

Tickets go on sale Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. local time. For more information, please click here for George Michael’s official Web site.
