While rock festivals continue to dominate the landscape, country music is beginning to gain some ground, with events like the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Country Thunder USA getting bigger every year.
So far, the confirmed entertainment lineup for RodeoHouston 2010 includes Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Gary Allan, Jonas Brothers, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Brooks & Dunn. Additional acts will be added in the coming weeks and a full roster will be unveiled Jan. 11.
Performers will take center stage at the Livestock Show and Rodeo, which runs from March 2 through March 21 at Houston’s Reliant Park, on three consecutive Wednesdays: March 3, March 10 and March 17.
A variety of ticket options are available, including $10 Value Day rodeo/concert tickets, $302 season tickets (which are good for all 20 performances) and mini-season tickets (which start at $132 and include nine shows in each of two options).
Complete lineup information, details on additional activities and more info on tickets is available at RodeoHouston.com.
About a thousand miles to the north, Country Thunder USA is shaping up to kick up some serious dust again next year, with Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Sugarland topping the bill.
