Needtobreathe Looks Forward To ‘Won’t Turn Back Tour’

08:01 AM Thursday 12/17/09 |   |

South Carolina rock band Needtobreathe was so anxious to return to the road that the group started booking its upcoming 2010 tour before it finished its 2009 outing.

Writing in the band’s blog, drummer Joe Stillwell said audience turnouts were so great for the fall “Outsiders Live Tour” that the band booked the “Won’t Turn Back Tour” for 2010 before they “even got home from the last one.”

So it’s more cities, more venues and more shows for Needtobreathe as the band promises a concert experience “bigger and better than ever!”

The tour begins in Baton Rouge at the Varsity Theatre March 3, followed by a stop in Dallas at House of Blues March 4 and Oklahoma City at the Diamond Ballroom March 5.

Other cities on the schedule include St. Petersburg (March 11), Cleveland (March 17), Chicago (March 18), New York (April 10), Tulsa (April 27) and Denver (May 13). Last stop is Des Moines at People’s Court May 15.

According to the band’s Web site, the tour will also feature tour-mates old and new, including Will Hoge, Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers, Graham Colton, Matt Hires and Seabird, although no specific dates for any special guest or support act have been announced.

The band is also launching a new official fan club called “The Insiders” which will offer fans early access to advance ticket sales, exclusive merch and meet-and-greets.

A limited number of presale tickets will go on sale Dec. 18. For more information, please click here for the Needtobreathe Web site.
