Scheduled To Appear – 01/04/10

Lady Gaga spent most of 2009 at the top of the charts around the world, raised the bar on everything from videos to television appearances to concerts and ended up on a host of year-end “Best Of” lists. Now the singer is helping to inspire the next generation of fashion designers.

Gaga will make a guest appearance on the first 2010 episode of Bravo’s latest creative fashion competition, “Launch My Line,” which pairs 10 established designers with 10 contestants who’ve made their mark in other professions.

The list of hopefuls, who’ve all dreamed of starting their own fashion lines, includes stylists, music producers, event planners, CEOs and choreographers. The winner of the competition will see that dream come true.

On Wednesday’s episode of the show, Lady G. will visit with the contestants, share her views on fashion and then challenge them to create an outfit inspired by her style while making sure “they are pushing the boundaries of fashion without crossing the line of good taste.”

Here’s a preview of the show.

If her “LML” appearance isn’t a sure sign Lady Gaga has finally arrived, perhaps this is: A Gaga fan and doll enthusiast in Beijing has been recreating the singer’s various looks in Barbie-sized versions that include every little detail right down to the ever-changing hairstyles.
