All Aboard!

02:01 PM Tuesday 1/12/10 | |

Train leaves the station for a March run up and down the East Coast, playing cities from Fort Lauderdale to Poughkeepsie.

The new dates mark the second leg of the “Save Me” tour in support of the album of the same name that charged up the charts and made life worth living for everyone who took the time to give it a listen.

But that’s enough of the small talk. Let’s get to the important stuff – tour dates.

The tour begins March 4 in Fort Lauderdale at Revolution. Next up is March 8 in Jacksonville, Fla., at the Florida Theatre. Train arrives in Greenville, S.C., March 9 for a gig at the Peace Center and appears in Durham, N.C., at the Carolina Theatre March 10.

Other stops include Mashantucket, Conn., at the Foxwoods Casino March 12; Red Bank, N.J., at the Count Basie Theatre March 16; Lancaster, Pa., at the American Music Theatre March 18 and Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at the Chance Theatre March 21. Last stop is Atlantic City at Caesars March 27.

Pollstar HotStar artist Butch Walker and the Black Widows support on all dates. For more information, click here for Train’s Web site.

And since we mentioned it, click here to read our Butch Walker HotStar feature from 2005 and here for Train’s turn as a HotStar artist in 1999.
