The Case Of The Make-Believe Wife

11:01 AM Wednesday 3/3/10 |   |

Police say a woman claiming to be the wife of Sean “Diddy” Combs has been arrested after making two visits to what she thought was the rapper/entrepreneur’s East Hampton home.

In what sounds like something that might be titled “Stalking For Dummies,” Police say Cemelia Green first showed up at the Long Island house Feb. 12, claiming to be Combs’ wife. A maintenance worker called police, but Green left before law officers arrived.

Ten days later Green reportedly went to an East Hampton police station and asked directions to Combs’ home, but officers refused to give her any information.

That’s when she went back to the house she originally targeted Feb. 12. Someone called the cops and Green was arrested.

Green has pleaded not guilty to criminal mischief and trespassing and is free on $5,000 bail.
