The Fuel addition is extra-special because the band will perform with original singer Brett Scallions who left the band in 2006.
Other bands added to the Rocklahoma lineup include The Last Vegas, Gypsy Pistoleros, The Nigel Dupree Band, O'Dette, Problem Child, Black Tora, Mad Max, and Bad Things. Previously announced acts include ZZ Top, Godsmack, Tesla, Buckcherry, Cinderella, Chevelle, Theory Of A Deadman and Saliva.
This year’s festival, scheduled for May 28-30, will also include its popular “Miss Rocklahoma” competition featuring ladies who “exude rock n’ roll.” Beginning April 3 at high noon CST, ladies can enter the contest at the Rocklahoma Web site. The top ten entries considered to embody the Rocklahoma spirit will be announced April 29, giving fans the opportunity to vote for their favorites online. The top five finalists will be announced May 20 and introduced at the festival May 28 when one will be crowned “Miss Rocklahoma 2010.”
This year marks the first time AEG Live is involved with Rocklahoma. Pollstar recently spoke with AEG Live’s Joe Litvag, who talked about changes made to this year’s event, saying his company’s first order of business is to take the festival to the next level. Click here for the complete interview.
