Bonnaroo runs June 10-13 just outside Manchester, Tenn. and is produced by Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment. Created with curators Thomas Cookman and Amy Blackman-Romero of Cookman International/Nacional Records, the Latino Alternativo Tent runs all day Saturday, June 12 and features Ozomatli as headliners as well as guest MCs during the day.
Other bands appearing in the Latino Alternativo Tent include Los Amigos Invisibles, Nortec Collecitve presents Bostich + Fussible, Aterciopelados, Mexican Institute of Sound and Bomba Estereo. DJs from each of the groups will perform between band sets.
“One of the most fun aspects of programming Bonnaroo is getting creative with our specialty venues – they have been hugely popular,” A.C. Entertainment’s Ashley Capps said. “Bonnaroo fans are some of the most open-minded people, and they love discovering new music. It’s gratifying to know that we’re turning on so many kids to something they most likely won’t hear or see anywhere else.”
