Welcome back headbangers! It’s time to unveil the lineup and the lucky cities that will get to experience the majesty of OzzFest 2010. Joining The Prince of Darkness this year is a kick-ass roster of acts that includes OzzFest virgins, Mötley Crüe.
After taking a year off last year and settling into a Dallas stadium the year before, OzzFest is hitting the road again. The fun starts August 14 at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernadino, Calif.
Other metropolitan areas in for a dose of metal mayhem include Chicago (August 17); Pittsburgh (August 19); Hartford, Conn. (August 21); Camden, N.J. (August 22) and Boston (August 24).
Joining Ozzy and the Crüe on the main stage are rock god Rob Halford, who will cover his entire catalog from Judas Priest to Fight to his solo work, DevilDriver and Nonpoint.
Tearing up stage two are six-time OzzFest vets Black Label Society, Drowning Pool, Kingdom of Sorrow, Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Saviours and Kataklysm.
The fun kicks off at 1 p.m. in each city and includes the now infamous “Village of the Damned,” which features a mix of interactive activities, shopping and entertainment.
Tickets for all shows go on sale May 22 at OzzFest.com.
