Scheduled To Appear – 05/03

04:04 PM Monday 5/3/10 | |

I’m sure there’s lots of great stuff on the TV schedule this week, but there are only really two words that matter: Betty White.

In response to rabid demand from fans and in celebration of her completely unexpected (to White at least) new rise in popularity, “Saturday Night Live” producer Lorne Michaels asked her to host.

Although it’s the third time she’s been asked, it’s the first time the 88-year-old television veteran (who’s been on TV as long as there’s been TV!) has said yes.

I know what I’ll be watching on Saturday night, and I’m betting the episode is going to make ratings history.

Go Betty White, go!
