Berzerkus For All Of Us

11:01 AM Wednesday 6/16/10 |   |

There’s a new hard rock festival tour coming, courtesy of Zakk Wylde & Company, as the metal guitarist announces “The Black Label Berzerkus” tour, scheduled to pummel a stage near you beginning in September.

It’s turning out to be a busy year for Wylde and the band. The new Black Label Society album, Order Of The Black, drops Aug. 10 and the band is already slotted for several Ozzfest appearances during that month as well as a date in Las Vegas at House Of Blues Sept. 16 and Knitting Factory shows in Reno, Boise and Spokane set for Sept. 17, 18 and 20, respectively.

But the big news is the Berzerkus tour, beginning Sept. 21 in Portland at the Rosebud Theatre. The word is Wylde picked the bands appearing on the festival tour. We’re talking Clutch, Children Of Bodom and 2Cents on a road trip that’s being described as a “powerful punch of music and debauchery.”

Along with the aforementioned Portland date, look for Berzerkus to play Vancouver at the PNE Forum Sept. 22; Edmonton at The Edmonton Expo Centre Sept. 24 and Regina at Agribition Hall Sept. 25. Other stops include Omaha, Milwaukee, Asbury Park, Toronto, New York City, Montreal, Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Lubbock and other cities where good times, pounding rhythms and screaming guitars are appreciated.

Presales for fan club members begins today at BLSNation.com and general onsales begin June 25. Just click here for more info.

Someone just asked Iron Maiden on Rockline whether they may to a Maidenfest kinda tour someday and now you here of this a second later.I guess Zakk is taking tour hints from his old boss.Hopefully Sharon does'nt manage it. Hopefully he can get greats like Motorhead or Slayer as well as lesser names.Being a guitarist he may get Yngwie,Uli Roth and Michael Schenker for instance.Sounds like it could be really great.Lets hope!
