Voodoo Experience 2010 takes place Oct. 29-31 at New Orleans City Park surrounded by lush lagoons, bayous and one of the largest collections of mature oak trees in the world. Ozzy, who has been busy promoting his upcoming album, Scream, with appearances at Madame Tussauds in New York and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, says he’s pumped to make his debut at the festival.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Halloween then with a performance in New Orleans,” the heavy metal singer said.

Special stages will “celebrate and honor the music and rich melting pot of the region” with locals acts including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, ReBirth Brass Band, and Treme Brass Band with Uncle Lionel Batiste.

The lineup also includes MGMT, Drake, Metric, Hot Chip, Interpol, Paul van Dyk, Deadmau5, Street Sweeper Social Club, Paul Oakenfold, Jakob Dylan and Three Legs, Ferry Corsten, Buckwheat Zydeco, Florence & The Machine, Raphael Saadiq and Eagles Of Death Metal.

Cage The Elephant will also be there along with Minus The Bear, Janelle Monae, Eli “Paperboy” Reed, Galactic with guests, The Airborne Toxic Event, Jonsi, InnerPartySystem, Afrojack, Die Antwoord and many more.

Three-day weekend tickets are on sale for $150 with LOA Lounge VIP passes for $500. Vip amenities include tax-free tickets, reserved parking, exclusive access to the LOA front row, a raised viewing area, full bar service and exclusive performances. Tickets are available for purchase through the Voodoo Experience website.
