Pygmalion Sculpts Daily Schedules

04:31 PM Friday 8/13/10 | |

With a gazillion bands and artists playing multiple venues throughout Illinois’ Champaign-Urbana area, you really need a list of who and where to totally enjoy the Pygmalion Music Festival, running Sept. 22-25. Details after the jump.

Founded in 2005 by Seth Fein, Pygmalion presents the best of different worlds by serving as a middle ground for established and up-and-coming artists. By utilizing venues no larger than small theatres, Pygmalion keeps it intimate for all.

Pygmalion also enjoys the support of the University of Illinois’ Crannert Center as well as from local businesses. It’s a music festival wrapped up in that legendary Midwest hospitality that’s kept people coming back for half a decade.

But you can’t really appreciate Pygmalion and all its artists, including Of Montreal, Janelle Monae and Ted Leo And The Pharmacists, unless you have a game plan. Here’s the schedule as it stands today.
