Digital Company Terra Unveils Its Music Fest

11:01 AM Friday 8/20/10 |   |

The Terra Music Fest, featuring Nelly Furtado, Fefe Dobson, Belanova, Gustavo Galindo and Akwid, is set for L.A.’s Gibson Amphitheatre At Universal CityWalk Oct. 3 and marks the global digital company’s expansion into music.

As a frontrunner in the digital media biz, Terra is also known as a bilingual content producer in the U.S., providing interactive experiences for millions of U.S. Hispanics as it focuses on lifestyle, entertainment sports and news. The company is also Latin America’s leading Internet company, receiving 70 million unique visitors per month.

The company is especially proud of its Live & Loud platform. Created to bring audiences closer to performers, it was recently used for a series of live chats with Daddy Yankee, Tito El Bambino, Alejandro Sanz and Diego Torres as well as webcasting live shows with bands like Wisin Y Yandel. Other performers taking advantage of the Live & Loud platform include Don Omar, Jenny Rivera and Ivy Queen.

“The diverse lineup at the Terra Music Fest and the Live & Loud digital component will make Terra the access point to music both online and off,” Terra USA CEO Fernando Rodriguez said. “As we continue to offer interactive initiatives to engage our audience, we are excited to introduce this new music platform.”

Tickets for the Terra Music Festival go on sale this weekend. For more information, please click here for the Terra website.
