Ultra Heads For Brazil

No longer confined to March in Miami, the Ultra Music Festival lands in Brazil this fall.

Although Ultra has held past events in Brazil, this marks the first time it has gone all out with one of its famed music festivals. Ultra held a pair of events Nov. 1, 2008 in Belo Horizonte and Sao Paulo, drawing approximately 17,500 electronic music fans.

Slotted for Sao Paulo Nov. 6 at a newly created space dubbed Station Morumbi / Ultra in the Marginal Pinheiros, the DJ / band lineup includes Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Moby, Above & Beyond, Groove Armada, Fedde Le Grand, Kaskade and Afrobeta.

“The initial artist announcement already solidifies this to be one of the best electronic music lineups ever presented in Brazil,” Ultra cofounder and CEO Russell Faibisch said. “The festival’s headline performers will be playing exclusively at UMF Sao Paulo. This will be the only place to see Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Moby (DJ Set) in Brazil during 2010!”
