Buffalo Springfield, Pearl Jam and Modest Mouse are just a few of the bands scheduled for this year’s Bridge School Benefit.

Young's managment company told Pollstar Buffalo Springfield’s lineup will feature surviving original members Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. Rolling Stone notes that Buffalo Springfield last performed in public together in 1968 and played together privately at Stills’ house in 1986. Original bassist Bruce Palmer died in 2004 and drummer Dewey Martin died in 2009.

Buffalo Springfield, Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse, Merle Haggard with Kris Kristofferson, and Grizzly Bear will perform both days.

I was there May 5, 1968 the last time Buffalo Springfield performed.  I am going to be there in October!
