Celebrate Matador’s Birthday On MySpace

05:01 PM Wednesday 9/29/10 | |

Indie rock fans that can’t make it to Matador Record’s 21st birthday party in Las Vegas will be happy to hear that the label has teamed up with MySpace Music to live stream all three days of the festival’s performances.

“Matador At Twenty-One: The Lost Weekend” takes place Oct. 1-3 at the Pearl Concert Theatre at The Palms Desert Resort and Casino and features sets from past and present Matador artists.

Friday’s lineup features Pavement, Fucked Up, Chavez and Guitar Wolf. On Saturday Belle & Sebastian take to the stage along with Spoon, Perfume, Come and Girls. The festival is closed out Sunday with performances by Guided By Voices, Liz Phair, The New Pornographers, Ted Leo And The Pharmacists and Shearwater.

The performances will be live-streamed via myspace.com/matador21 and then re-aired the new morning.

The following artists are performing at the fest but will not be included in the live streams: Sonic Youth, Superchunk, Cat Power, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Yo La Tengo.
