The 21st annual event takes place Dec. 11-12 at the Gibson Amphitheatre At Universal CityWalk in Universal City, Calif.
Smashing Pumpkins will close out the first night. The Dec. 11 lineup also includes Social Distortion, My Chemical Romance, Bad Religion, Jimmy Eat World, CAKE, A Day To Remember, Dirty Heads, Anberlin, and Switchfoot.
Along with Phoenix the second night features performances from Vampire Weekend, Brandon Flowers, The Black Keys, The Temper Trap, Neon Trees, Florence & The Machine, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, and Broken Bells.
Tickets for Night 1 of "KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas" go on sale Thursday at noon. Tickets for the second night go on sale Friday at noon.
To purchase tickets you must be a street team member with 106.7 K-Rock. Tickets are priced at $75 (plus applicable fees) and are limited to two per person per show. Fans purchasing tickets must be residents of California. This will be determined by one’s credit card billing zip code.
Proceeds from Night 1 benefit Para Los Niños, a “non-profit family service agency designed to raise at-risk children out of poverty and into brighter futures through positive educational opportunities and support.” Proceeds from the second night benefit Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, “a safe after-school environment where hundreds of boys and girls in South Central Los Angeles participate in tutoring, learn important social skills and are guided to succeed in school and enter college.”
